It has a distinguished track record of serving its clients across various sectors including onshore and offshore wind, oil & gas, nuclear and chemicals. In addition, it has been leveraging its engineering and technical capabilities to support low-carbon technologies including hydrogen, carbon capture, and energy storage.

The Investment
Averroes took a majority stake in the business, investing alongside Scott Martin (Group CEO). In addition to the buyout, Averroes provided growth capital to invest in strategic growth initiatives. Simon Rowan and Jack Scott will join the Glacier Energy Board from Averroes.
The Value
Averroes is working closely with the business as it embarks on further growth, designed to take advantage of positive market drivers in the energy landscape, in particular the energy transition, energy security initiatives and decommissioning. Averroes is assisting the team on its strategic growth initiatives as well as key hires to support the business in its growth plans.
