Averroes Capital is a London-based investment platform backed by some of the most established corporate names and professional investors in the GCC region, who are represented by our Board of Directors.

 

Founded in 1959, Al Fozan is one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant corporates with operations and investment activities throughout the Gulf. It is a fast-growing regional success story with over 20 operating subsidiaries and a diversified investment portfolio covering retail, manufacturing, and real estate.

Headquartered in Dubai, Rassmal Investments is a diversified investment company holding a strong track record in international private markets investment including real estate, private equity and growth. Other group investments include Al Bawani, whose construction division is now among the largest operators in Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Mr. Saleh Al Turki is the Founder and Chairman of Nesma Holdings, a significantly diversified group founded in 1979 with approximately 35,000 employees and operations throughout the GCC in engineering & construction, renewables, utilities, food, retail, logistics and business services. Currently Mayor of Jeddah, he has held several positions in social welfare and education, including chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and of Al-Birr Society for Orphans. He holds an MA in Public Administration from California State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the American University of Beirut.

Mr. Salah R. Al Rashed is Managing Partner at Al Rashed (RAR), a leading corporate group founded in 1950 which has over 13,000 employees and 26 subsidiaries operating in a broad range of sectors. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab National Bank and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

Mr. Mohammad Almojel is the Founder and Managing Partner at Averroes Capital and manages the investment team at Al-Mojel Company, one of the leading investment groups operating in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC with over six decades of trading history. Mohammad sits on numerous boards including Al-Mojel and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
